Pre order

It is possible to order and pay for duty-free products either when you leave or arrive at the Faroe Islands. All you have to do is go to the webpage of DutyFree FAE, choose your product(s), pay with a credit card, type in the flight number and the name on the flight ticket and the product is ready for pick-up at a time of your choice. Easy!

Prices
All prices are in Faroese króna (DKK) or euros (EUR). We make reservations for sold out items.

Payment
All orders placed through the Duty-Free FAE webpage must be paid with credit cards and the credit card information must be given when you place your order.
You can pay with VISA, Visa Electron, JCB and MasterCard. The total amount will be settled as soon as your order is picked up in our Duty-Free shop at Vagar Airport. Products ordered directly from our webpage which are sold out or otherwise unavailable will be deducted before we settle the total amount.

Pre-Order
Pre-orders must be received 3 hours prior to departure. The products can be picked up in our Duty-free shop in Vágar Airport and are available for pick-up as long as you are in the duty-free area in Vágar Airport. Orders that are not picked up on the departure or arrival day that you stated in your order will be deleted along with the payment.
Please note that you have to be 18 years of age or older for us to hand over orders that contain alcohol or tobacco products. If necessary, we will require you to provide picture identification before the products are handed over.

Confirmation
When you have placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation which will be sent to the email address you registered when placing the order.

Returning Items or Placing Complaints Concerning Your Order
If the product is not to your satisfaction, you can return it or exchange it at our shop in Vagar Airport. If your departure or arrival to the airport has been settled, you can contact us by telephone or email to return the product or place complaints:

The Faroe Islands are not members of the European Union. The Faroe Islands are not part of the EEA (European Economic Area).

This means that special allowances apply for the importation of goods to the Faroe Islands.

We recommend that you check with the customs authorities concerning which conditions apply at any given time.
