Collection
We collect your personal information in various ways, including when you buy a plane ticket, contact us or use our app.

In most cases, we get the information directly from you. In other cases, we get the information from others. For example, this may be information from other travelers or your representatives, or public authorities.

We only collect the information we need to provide you with a service if it is a legal requirement, legitimate interests, or obtained explicit consent from you. Read more under "Special treatment situations" below.

Transfer of personal information
In some cases, we pass on your personal information. For example, it can be to other public authorities, advisers, accountants, lawyers, etc.

In some cases, we also use data processors who help us process your information safely and securely. It can, for example, be the storage of personal information or help from outside advisers or suppliers.

Mostly we do not use suppliers or data processors outside ES / EBS (third countries). In some cases, however, this may occur.

If we transfer your information outside the EU / EBS, we will always ensure a sufficient legal basis for your data's transfer and satisfactory protection.

Booking of airline tickets

When you buy a flight ticket from us, either via the website, app, or phone, you will be asked to provide certain information that we need to process your order and your trip. What information we need depends on, i.a. where you are going.

If you need special services, such as a wheelchair and the like, this is also registered.

Purpose
The purpose of processing the information is to process/administer your agreement to purchase a flight ticket with Atlantic Airways in addition to processing the actual journey with us.

Treatment authority
To comply with our agreement, Atlantic Airways is required to process certain information about you. The treatment authority is therefore to comply with the agreement.

We may have a legal obligation to process and store certain personal information relating to you, and we do so to the extent required by us. These legal requirements can, e.g., be notifications to the tax authorities and other matters relating to legal certainty.

Recipients
To comply with our obligations, we may pass on your personal information to, e.g., card issuers, airports, tax authorities, or the police.

Deletion
Information you have given us in connection with purchasing a flight ticket and its administration will be stored until we no longer need it or have an obligation to store it - this can be for up to 5 years.

Súlubonus (frequent flyer program)

Atlantic Airways collects, uses, and stores your personal information for the purpose of managing your membership in Atlantic Airways' frequent flyer program. For example, register your flights and ensure that you receive bonus points for relevant travel in connection with your membership in Atlantic Airways' frequent flyer program.

The information below supplements the membership terms of Atlantic Airways' bonus program, Súlubonus, which you will find here.

What personal information do we register and use
Contact information, i.a., name, address, nationality, gender, potential study status, e-mail, telephone number.

Based on your personal information, Atlantic Airways will automatically decide if you are entitled to purchase youth tickets based on your birthday. In addition, Atlantic Airways will automatically determine if you - depending on how many bonus points you have earned - should have a gold membership.

If you are younger than the age limit, you can get youth status. And if you have flown often enough, you can become a gold member.

Purpose
The purpose is to communicate with you and ensure that your bonus points can be identified and awarded correctly.

Treatment authority
In order for us to comply with our agreement with you on membership in our bonus program, Súlubonus, we will be required to process certain information about you. The treatment authority is, therefore, to comply with the agreement.

Recipients
Your personal information is stored at Atlantic Airways and displayed on the website of a third-party host.

Deletion
Your personal information will be stored for as long as you are a member of Atlantic Airways' bonus program, Súlubonus. Your personal information will be deleted when you terminate your membership if Atlantic Airways is not required by the applicable law to store your personal information for an extended period of time.

Atlantic Airways' app

Atlantic Airways' app makes it easier for you to book airline tickets and check-in for travel while you're on the go. However, if you choose to download and install the app, you will be asked to provide certain personal information in order to use the app.

The purpose is to be able to provide you with the services that the app provides access to, such as flight booking and check-in.

Treatment authority

Your personal information is stored at Atlantic Airways and displayed on the website of a third-party host.

Deletion
Your personal information will be stored for as long as you use Atlantic Airways' app. Your personal information will be deleted when you delete the app unless Atlantic Airways is required by the applicable law to store your personal information for an extended period of time.

Our customers can always contact us if they have questions, complaints or the like.

We register and use this personal information:
Name, address, e-mail, and telephone number
Information that you provide to us that is necessary for us to process your request

Purpose
The purpose of the processing is to help you and process your request.

Treatment authority
The information will be processed so that Atlantic Airways can follow a granted interest, which is to answer your request.

In connection with complaints and the like, which may contain sensitive information, e.g., information on health status, the processing is necessary for legal claims to be attested, validated, or defended.

Deletion
Information that Atlantic Airways processes in connection with inquiries will be deleted no later than 24 months after the inquiry has been processed.

Atlantic AirFi


We collect certain information about you when you use our wireless network onboard our aircraft. Atlantic Airways may store cookies on your device (computer, tablet, mobile or other) in this connection.

Information sent from your device when you use Atlantic AirFi

Information regarding:
Your device's identification number (IP and MAC address), reference URL, how long you use AirFi, geographical location.
Information regarding your use of Atlantic AirFi. This information is obtained via cookies.

Purpose
The purpose of collecting the information in connection with the use of services is to identify your device and for statistics.

Treatment authority
The processing authority for our processing of your personal data in connection with the use of Atlantic AirFi is your consent.

Recipients
Relevant information is passed on to suppliers with whom we collaborate, e.g. providers of technical support and operation of our services.

Deletion
Information that is collected in connection with the use of Atlantic AirFi is continuously anonymized and will be deleted no later than 12 months after collection.

Restriction of rights
Access to the information in the above requires that you provide us with more information about yourself so that it is possible for us to identify you: (i) information provided in connection with log-on, (ii) IP / MAC address used, and ( iii) date and approx. time of when you used the wireless network. We do not process your first and last name and therefore can not register you based on the information.

Helicopter booking

When you book a ticket for our Helicopter, either via the website or phone, you will be asked to provide certain information that we need to process your order and your flight. What information we need depends on, i.a. where you are going.

Your rights

According to the Data Protection Act, you have several rights concerning our processing of your personal data.

The right to revoke consent
If our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you always have the right to revoke your consent. When you revoke your consent, our processing of your personal data, which was based on your consent, will cease.

Note: If you revoke consent, we may not be able to provide you with a particular service.

The right to delete
In special cases, you have the right to request that the personal information that we have collected about you be deleted. The right is not unconditional, as some information cannot be deleted due to other legislation or whether an agreement or a specific purpose gives us the right to retain and process the personal data.

The right of access
You have the right to know what information we have about you. However, the right to insight requires that we can identify particular information about you. It may therefore be necessary for you to provide us with additional information in the event that we are unable to identify you based on the information we already have.

Right to limitation of treatment
In special cases, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. This means that if the conditions for processing restrictions are met, we can only process your personal data in special cases.

Right to protest
You can protest that your personal information is being processed. If the protest is deemed to be justified, your personal information should not be processed. However, information may be processed for other lawful purposes.

Right to corrections
You have the right to request that the personal information that is incorrect or misleading be corrected so that we do not process information about you that contains errors or omissions.

Right to complain
