Passport and visa

Remember to check the passport and visa rules in the country you are travelling to. 

You yourself are responsible for checking and complying with the passport and visa rules in the country you are travelling to. Different rules apply at the different destinations. 

We always recommend that you bring your passport on the trip. 

The Nordic countries:
As a general rule, a passport is not required when you travel within the Nordic countries. A valid photo ID, such as a driving licence, is sufficient.

ETA
From 1 April 2025, everyone travelling to Great Britain has been required to have a so-called ETA, Electronic Travel Authorisation. You can apply for this online or with an app. The processing time is up to three working days.
