Check-in at self-service kiosks

There are eight self-service check-in kiosks at Vágar Airport.

You can use the booking number or your passport to find your booking. If you have checked in from home, you can scan the barcode.

The kiosks have the advantage that you can also print your bag tags there.

Automated luggage drop-off

There are two self-service luggage belts at Vágar Airport.

If you check in at the kiosks and put the tag on your luggage, you can go straight to the self-service drop-off, place the luggage on the belt, scan the barcode, and a few seconds later the suitcase moves off along the belt and the drop-off is complete.

The only condition is that you do not have more luggage with you than allowed. If you do, you must go to the staffed check-in desk.
