The aim of Sveiggj youth tickets is to bring students and young people living abroad closer to the Faroe Islands and to make it more attractive for young Faroese people to live and study in the Faroe Islands. That is why Atlantic Airways offers young people and students the opportunity to fly at a special fare.
Sveiggj youth tickets are available to all young people under 26 and to Faroese full-time students aged 26 and over who receive a study grant or travel grant from Studni.
To book Sveiggj youth tickets directly on atlantic.fo, you must first become a Súlubonus member. Apply for Sveiggj youth tickets by logging in to your Súlubonus account and clicking "MY ACCOUNT". Then click "Are you approved for Sveiggj youth tickets?" and follow the instructions on the page.
All young people aged between 12 and 25 inclusive can buy Sveiggj youth tickets.
To book Sveiggj youth tickets directly on atlantic.fo, you must create an account on atlantic.fo and attach photo ID (a driving licence or passport). Young people under 26 can also book Sveiggj youth tickets by calling Atlantic Airways Customer Service or a travel agency.
Atlantic Airways must approve the photo ID before you can book tickets on atlantic.fo.
Atlantic Airways reserves the right to verify that passengers travelling with Sveiggj youth tickets meet the conditions. We may therefore ask for photo ID before you board. Always remember to bring photo ID when travelling with Sveiggj youth tickets.
Faroese full-time students aged 26 and over who receive a study grant or travel grant from Studni can also buy Sveiggj youth tickets. To book Sveiggj youth tickets, you must create an account on the Atlantic Airways website.
In addition to photo ID, you must attach confirmation from your educational institution proving that you are a full-time student. The institution must be approved by Studni or SU. The confirmation is valid for one semester. Atlantic Airways must approve your photo ID and proof of study before you can book tickets on atlantic.fo.
You must be able to prove that you receive a study grant for the current semester from, for example, Studni or SU.
Sveiggj youth tickets can be purchased for all Atlantic Airways destinations.
Sveiggj youth tickets cannot be combined with other ticket types, either when you buy the ticket or if you subsequently change it.
With Sveiggj youth tickets, you can change the travel date, route and name. Each change costs DKK500 + any fare difference. A name change costs DKK 600. This means that changing, for example, the name and travel date costs DKK 1100 in change fees + any fare difference.
If the name on a Sveiggj youth ticket is changed, the new passenger must also meet the conditions for Sveiggj youth tickets. Young people under 26 can change the name on a Sveiggj youth ticket by calling Atlantic Airways Customer Service or the travel agency from which they booked the ticket.
Students aged 26 and over can only change the name on a Sveiggj youth ticket by calling Atlantic Airways Customer Service.
You can cancel your purchase of Sveiggj youth tickets within 24 hours of purchase and receive a full refund, provided that you cancel no later than three hours before departure.
If you have booked a Sveiggj youth ticket and may have entered the wrong name, selected the wrong day or changed your mind about the purchase, you can receive a full refund for the Sveiggj youth ticket if you contact us within 24 hours from the time of purchase.

Sveiggj youth tickets are non-refundable, except within the 24-hour cancellation period.
Availability of Sveiggj youth tickets may be limited on selected flights.
Each person may have only one account on atlantic.fo. Only the account holder can book Sveiggj youth tickets for themselves on atlantic.fo.
When you create an account, you confirm that all the information in the account is correct and up to date. If, for example, you stop studying, you must immediately update your account on the website or notify Atlantic Airways by sending an email to [email protected].
When you create an account, you also become a member of Atlantic Airways' loyalty programme, Súlubonus.
By creating an account, you give Atlantic Airways permission to send you news and offers.
Atlantic Airways reserves the right to verify that passengers travelling with Sveiggj youth tickets meet the conditions. We may therefore ask for photo ID before you board. Always remember to bring photo ID when travelling with Sveiggj youth tickets.
If a ticket is purchased by calling or writing to Atlantic Airways Customer Service, a service fee of DKK 275 applies to each return ticket.
Breaches of the conditions, such as document forgery, will be reported to the police.
Atlantic Airways may change the terms or discontinue Sveiggj youth tickets at any time.
