Reduced mobility

To ensure that you receive the best possible assistance on your journey, the ticket and the assistance must be booked at the same time and no later than 48 hours before departure. If you book later, we will do our best to help you. On this page you will find information about the various services we offer passengers with reduced mobility. Please read our regulations and conditions.

Can I travel without a companion? Most passengers with reduced mobility can travel with Atlantic Airways without a companion. In order to safeguard the safety of all passengers, including passengers with reduced mobility, and to avoid a possible evacuation being delayed, there are individual passengers who must have a companion with them on the journey. This is a requirement under the exemption conditions set out in (EC) 1107/2006 Article 4.2.

Companion

A companion or carer is the person who is responsible for your wellbeing while you board/leave the aircraft, for your general safety during the flight, and for you receiving the necessary assistance in connection with an evacuation. The companion must be at least 18 years old and sit next to you.

The companion cannot act as companion for more than one passenger at a time.

Please note! Our cabin crew must not lift you from the aircraft seat into a wheelchair and must not assist you in the toilet or with medication. They can help a little with food, but otherwise cannot help you to eat.

Useful advice for passengers with reduced mobility. In order to give our passengers the best possible assistance, and in accordance with EU Regulation 1107/2006, we must have information about your need for assistance no later than 48 hours before departure, so that we can inform those responsible at the airport of the assistance required.
