Animal transport in the cabin*

Smaller pets (dogs and cats) may travel in the cabin under special conditions. Animals that can travel in the hold are not approved to travel in the cabin. The cabin is limited to two animals per departure. You therefore need to let us know if you intend to travel with an animal in the cabin.

Two animals may be sent in the same carrier if the animals already know each other well. The animal must be carried in an IATA-approved carrier. The maximum weight for carrier and animal is 8 kilos, with maximum permitted dimensions of 40 x 25 x 23 cm.

We recommend a so-called “sherpa bag”, which is flexible in size. The outer dimensions of such a bag may be larger than the size of the carrier, provided it can be compressed to fit within the maximum permitted dimensions while the animal still has sufficient room inside. Sherpa bags can be bought in most pet shops.

Animals travelling in the cabin count as one piece of hand luggage.

NB! It costs DKK 199 for each animal travelling in the cabin. 

Please note that if you are travelling with animals, this must be booked in advance and no later than 48 hours before departure. The transport must be booked where you bought your ticket.
