The best advice is to pack the bicycle in a bicycle bag or a case. No registration is required in advance. If you travel without a bicycle bag, you must turn the handlebars a quarter turn, unscrew the pedals and let the air out of the tyres. The bicycle counts as one piece of luggage.

Electric bicycles are classed as dangerous goods and are not allowed on the flight.
